Rz. Polygonati Odorati Yu Zhu 6-12g Nourishes Yin, moistens Dryness, moistens the Lungs, nourishes the Stomach and generate fluids
With Bo He, Bai Wei, Jie Geng and Dan Dou Chi, for Yin Deficiency with Exterior Wind-Heat.
Bul. Allii Fistulosi Cong Bai 6g Releases the exterior and induces sweating.
With Dan Dou Chi, treats elderly or weak patients, pregnant women and children during any season for either Hot or Cold pathogens.
Rx. Platycodi Jie Geng 3-6g Opens the Lungs, spreads Lung Qi, expels Phlegm, benefits the throat, expels pus and opens and raises Lung Qi, directing the effects of other herbs to the upper body.
Sm. Sojae Preparata Dan Dou Chi 9-12g Releases the Exterior, eliminates irritability, harmonizes the Middle Jiao and relieves stuffy sensations in the chest.
With Cong Bai, for Colds associated with Yin Deficiency.
Hb. Menthae Haplocalycis Bo He 3-6g Disperses Wind-Heat, cools and clears the head and eyes and benefits the throat.
Rx. Cynanchi Atrati Bai Wei 1-10g Cools the Blood and clears Deficiency Heat.
Rx. Glycyrrhizae Preparata Zhi Gan Cao 1-3g Moistens the Lungs, resolves Phlegm, stops cough and moderates and harmonizes the harsh properties of other herbs.
With Jie Geng, for pain and swelling of the throat.
Fr. Jujube Da Zao 2-5pcs Tonifies the Spleen and Stomach, augments Qi, nourishes the Blood, calms the Spirit and moderates and harmonizes the harsh properties of other herbs.
